Alsay Water Plant Supports New Houston Community.

Alsay is pleased to be part of the initial stages of Springwoods Village — a new, developing Houston community which will be located at the intersection of I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road. Recently, we worked as a subcontractor to WW Payton to construct two wells for the water plant which supplies water to the community. In an article by Nancy Sarnoff of the Houston Chronicle, she writes, “This community will be a true live, work, play environment that will have jobs, homes and amenities from the day it opens.”

In addition to housing, the community, which will be near the new Exxon Mobile campus that is expected to house 10,000 employees, will include an urban-style town center featuring a full-service hotel, restaurants, shops and offices.

Homes will be in the style of those in the Heights, and construction is expected to begin on a new 342 high-end apartment complex in January. Employees who will work at the companies located in the area are already beginning to inquire about housing prices and are expressing interest in this new Houston development.
